the collision repair is finished
- the vehicle
is sanded and masked
- the damaged area is feather-edged
- polyester filler is used to even out small imperfections
- the area is then washed with chemicals
- a two-component primer is applied to protect against
corrosion |

Priming
Stages
- a final sanding of the area
- the area is cleaned of all dust
- a urethane surfacer is applied
- this forms a chemical bond to the
substrate
- the surfacer is now sanded, to promote good adhesion, and cleaned
- now it is ready for the paint to be applied |
